In struggles and troubles, there are always two options before us, namely: to trust in the Lord God or to bow down to fear. What will make all the difference is which of these options we will assume. The Holy Scriptures tell us to do as follows:
"Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid: for the Lord Jehovah is my strength and my song; he also is become my salvation." (Isaiah 12:2)
Let's meditate...
We must trust in the Lord God, because HE is our salvation! However, this trust must last until the end, because fear, taking advantage of the circumstances, will try to take over and, if this happens, even if we are walking on water, doubt will dissuade us from faith. This is what happened to the apostle Peter, as we can read and understand from the Word of the Lord Jesus, that he sank because of doubt. It is written:
"But when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying, Lord, save me.
And immediately Jesus stretched forth his hand, and caught him, and said unto him, O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt?" (Matthew 14:30-31)
Peter was saved because he cried out for the salvation of the One who is the Savior - Jesus the Son of God. And you, have you accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior?
If not, pray now, saying to God:
Lord my God and my FATHER,
I repent of all the sins I have committed in life;
I do believe that Jesus is the Son of God, and that he died on the cross for my sins;
I also believe in my heart that Jesus was raised by You from the dead;
I confess and receive the Lord Jesus, as the only and sufficient Savior of my life;
I ask You, my God and my FATHER, to forgive me of all the sins I have ever committed, write my name in the Book of Life, and accept me into the Kingdom of Heaven;
I pray in the Name of my Lord and Savior Jesus and I thank You, with all my heart, eternally;
Amen.
So, let us remain firmly trusting in the Lord God and call out in the Name of the Lord Jesus whenever we need His help.
